Build real things. A working product that ships beats a perfect product that doesn't.

Theory becomes useful when applied. The best way to learn something is to build something with it.

Keep systems simple

Complexity should have a reason. If you can't explain why it's complex, simplify it.

Design matters

A powerful product should also feel good to use. Engineering and design aren't separate.
